My Emporium

Private Collection

From time to time, I offer up selected artworks from my private collection, mainly because I’m running out of room & I think someone else might enjoy them. I’m offering these works at little or no markup I paid for them even though some may have appreciated in value over time. None were purchased for resale & the pieces have been enjoyed in my home & studio.

What’s new, Pussycat?

Title: “What’s new, Pussycat?”
12”x15” Oil on canvas, Gallery wrapped,
$45

This is a piece i resucued from a second-hand store in outline form and finished it out by adding details such as the coloring, shelf, tennis shoe and scene in the window.

The “wallpaper “ is slightly more lavender in tone than in the picture.

The original artist is unknown but signature is in the lower right.

I’ve enjoyed this mischievous big-tailed cat looking at me in my studio but its time to send him on to someone else.

Steel Creek, Buffalo River Trail

Steel Creek, Buffalo River Trail”
Artist: Allie Wujcik, pastel on paper
18” x 12”; 24” x 18” mat size;
28” x 22 1/2” framed.
$250

I was unable to get the glare off the glass for a good photo of this beautiful rendition of a woman walking reflectively in the river forest. Wujcik’s vibrant colors are stunning & hold their hue over time. Its a lovely, restful piece.

Hidden Harps

Mixed media collage, “Hidden Harps”
Artist: Donna Stjerna Mulholland
16” x 20”; 22 1/2” x 26” frame size.
$55

Self framed by the artist in an antiqued gold, this collage reflects a beautiful saying by Rumi. The piece is made of art papers, decoupage, paint & Donna’s surprising imagination depicting romantic love & loyalty. Its been a favorite of mine for many a year. I hope it goes to someone who will treasure it as I have.
