PATRICIA STUDER

Coming late to the art scene after successful careers in teaching and psychology, I picked up a brush, began painting and have never looked back.

I love getting lost in the process of creating fine art whether it be a landscape, a waterfall, a portrait or an urban scene that has caught my imagination.

Working mainly in oils, I show my work regularly at Artist of Northwest Arkansas (ANA) member shows and I’ve shown paintings at Spiva Center for the Arts in Joplin Missouri in their annual member shows.

I am a represented artist at Terra Studios in Durham, Arkansas as well as demonstrating painting live at Terra’s annual fundraising gala, “Using Art for Good.”

I’ve taken a weeklong workshop with Anna Koster in New Mexico who was employed by the late Georgia O’Keeffe, I am an admirer of Ms. O’Keefe’s work having given a presentation to ANA with my colleague, Kathleen Siegfried. I’ve also taken workshops with nationally known artists Natasha Isenhour and Carol Cooper. Additionally, I spent a year in bi-monthly classes at Studio Seven in Rogers, Arkansas with Tania Knudsen.

I’ve sold and sent paintings as far away as Australia and the eastern United States. I offer my work for sale and also do paintings by commission on request.

Thank you for looking at my website and my work. I can be contacted by using the form on the Contact Me menu. Let’s talk Art!

Warmly,
